Do you have a question, a problem, or need some help? Give us a call. You will get a real person to answer the phone (not voice mail) and you will be directed to a person who can help you. For questions concerning the status of a quote or the entry or change of an order, you will be able to talk directly with our Sales Support Representative. For questions concerning the production status, expediting or delivery of an order, you be able to talk directly with our Production Control Coordinator. If the person you want to talk to is not immediately availible, other members of our knowlegeable staff will try to help if possible. If not, the appropriate person will call you back as soon as possible.
Sales Support
Quotes
Sales Support completes the quote process by costing any outside operations such as plating or heat-treating and finalizing part pricing. If you provide an estimated annual usage, we will determine the most economical run quantity and the frequency of the production runs; otherwise we will quote only the requested quantities. If however, slight increases in the quantity will significantly reduce price because of volume breaks in material cost or reduced setup costs, we will include the additonal quantites and costs on the quote as well as any special terms.

Lead Times
We will quote the best possible lead time based on raw material availability, and estimated machining time in effect at the time the quote is prepared. Lead times may change if there are delays in receiving the customer's purchase order. Lead time may also be affected by whether the full quantity is to be shipped all at once or if several smaller shipments are specified.

Order Entry and Acknowledgement
All orders are reviewed for correct pricing, delivery dates, revision levels and special instructions prior to order entry. Discrepancies are faxed to you for clarification or approval. We send you a formal acknowledgement for every order entered, noting any exceptions and confirming delivery dates.

Production Control and Expediting
Expediting
Sometimes delivery requirements change, if so, we may be able to improve your delivery due to improved lead times, use of alternate equipment or short production runs. We will make every effort to satisfy your requests.

Production Status
We answer all questions about the production status of your part. If we can't provide an answer on the spot, we will get back to you within 24 hours. If we perceive a possible delay in a delivery, we will call you as soon as possible to avoid any last minute surprises.

Inventory Status
If you have stable part design and on-going requirements you may choose to take advantage of the savings and inventory management offered by a long-term contract. You may call at anytime for an instant update on inventory balances or to make adjustments in requirements.

Material Requirements Planning
If you have an MRP, MRPII, JIT, KAN-BAN, or "home grown" materials planning system, great! When forging a long-term partnership with Ohio Screw Products, our APICS trained production coordinator will set up a seamless flow of parts to you, utilizing your MRP output.
